What would you highlight about Cabañas Darely Rotamundos
good value and a hassle free place to stay to enjoy the Copper Canyon!
We booked the day before and obviously didn't read that we were getting picked up from the train at Divisadero but we had a van waiting for us so no fuss! There was a good gas heater in the room, hot water and lots of blankets which was essential for December! The room was spacious and good value. Breakfast was extra (100pesos) but very good! We did one of the 'tours' which seemed a lot for just getting dropped off at the park but from this place you'd have to walk to the view points and the park if you didn't get the tour. The location is good and you are less than 1 min from everywhere in the small town and a 10 min walk up the hill gets you views of the barrancas! If you go for sunrise, take lots of layers! Highly recommend the 7 zipline trip in the park!
We stayed in the rooms further away from the restaurant so no wifi but in general we liked staying here.

What would you highlight about Cabañas Darely Rotamundos
The place is clean but there is some incorrect information.
Breakfast was delicious but it was a very unpleasant experience. The restaurant kept asking us if we paid, I told them we paid online with the website, but they weren't informed. They let us wait for an hour before they get into contact with whoever was supposed to give them this information. We were hungry and were asked to screen shot the proof of our payment. It was a huge waste of time.
When I booked it shows that there's wifi in public area, whereas in reality the "area" is a restaurant that opens from 8am to 6pm, and a 15 minutes walk away. I teach online and I had to cancel my evening lessons for this.

Good breakfast, cozy room.
Couldn't find entrance in the dark. Looks like someone's house from the road. No sign on the house.
